Grand Hotel Sunday Sesh & New Photos

Hey Guys,
As I write this I’m in recovery mode from what was a big gig at the Alberny creek Tavern last night. Some of the new songs got a run and we’re looking forward to changing things up even more in the coming weeks.
For now though, it’s down to the Grand Hotel at Labrador tomorrow for a rockin’ Sunday sesh. We kick of at 4pm so if you’re down that way and have no plans, definitely come along for cold beers and great tunes!

Albany Creek Tavern here we come!!
This Friday were venturing over to the Northside of town (the wrong side of the tracks if you will) and are playing the Albany Creek Tavern. We’re there from 9 til 1.

As for us, we have 4 new tracks in the works, we’ll see how they go at Thursday night rehersals to see if they get a run on Friday. Not going to let slip just yet on what their called by Get Set for some boss tunes….
January wrap up
This page is supposed to be a blog, but so far we’ve been using it as a gig guide. So heres my first attempt at a blog post (warning, may contain gig guide)
This month we did 9 gigs(phew!) so now the boys are taking a rest for the remainder of Jan. 2012 has started with a full on assault of bars all around this great south east. We branched out into some new territory as well as an old favourite and the future is looking bright and busy.
In February we have some big gigs coming up at Surfers Beer Garden on the 10th, Chalk on the 24th and a return to our old stomping ground up at the Wharfie at Mooloolaba (18th). Really looking forward to crossing a few venues off our bucket list.
If you haven’t had enough music for this month yet, why not come along to one of the gigs im playing with my ‘other’ band, ROTH. Roth are playing at Rics on the 24th and the Beetle Bar on the 27th.
Hopefully Tom will agree to do the Feb wrap up and make it a bit more interesting.
